We follow their story from the initial excitement and anticipation of buying an unconverted barge in Amsterdam, through their terrifying experience crossing the English Channel without a pilot, to their heartbreaking setbacks and hard won victories along the way, all underpinned by both the relentless physical hardship and the emotional roller coaster of their unconventional life afloat.
